This semester is almost over and I'm just thrilled about it! I'm NOT thrilled, however, that the Summer semester begins just 2 weeks after Spring ends, which means only 1 week down time! Waaahhhh!!! Big time bummer! I'm planning on going to good, ol' Fresno to visit a few dandies for a while, but I won't be able to stay as long as I originally planned. Oh well, best not to wear out my welcome, huh Bonnie? =D Love you! hehe... So, I've just got 1 research paper, 1 group project, 2 finals, a little extra credit thingy, and 2 more weeks of classes and I'm DONE. *phew* I've got a lot of work to do, so I don't know why I'm hanging around here! Because I appreciate my "fan base" so MUCH, I just want you all to feel as loved as I do!

On the church and music ministry aspect, I finished teaching a Jonathan Stockstill song tonight called "My God". Nice. Very nice. Can't wait to sing it Sunday! Watch out, Hope Center!!

I have a somewhat competitive nature. I'm told this competitive nature has a companion "nature" called jealousy. Apparently you can't have one without the other. Major bummer, huh? So, there is yet one more thing for me to work on!! I do enjoy a new challenge! I'm competitive in a quirky way though. I love being the person at the potluck whose dish is wiped clean. I love having a really good hair day. I rejoice when told I look younger than the 32 years I have. Or when Logan is complimented for having wonderful manners. Also, when someone mentions how wonderful and/or handsome my husband is. So, that is my "competitive side". I just FEEL like a winner sometimes! Not all the time! LOL Nobody else even knows it's a competition, and I'm only a winner in the arena of my own imagination. HAHA! Does that make me a complete PSYCHO?!? Ah, well, what to do, what to do...

Don't call me...I'll call you...

Well, that's all she wrote. Or he wrote. Or anybody wrote. We wrote and re-wrote and when it came down to brass tacks, it was God who made up the difference. Our Easter drama run is over and what a time we had! It was very rewarding to be able to pray with my brother-in-law's girlfriend in the altar and to see my friend from school there as well. The team did such a great job of getting this thing together and the cast really did outstanding! I'm glad it's over. At this point, I can't say that I would like to do it again. We will see what the future holds, but for now, I am finished.

I'm Baaaack...

Well, I'm back. I guess. It has been a real struggle for me to take this back up again, due to falling poll numbers... ;0) It is a lot of work and being the narcissistic person I apparently am, I do want people to actually read what I have to say. Obviously, not a lot of people care what I have to say, so it became a burden. I am ready to tackle the endeavor, once again, wholeheartedly and unabashedly!! So... Since it's been a while since I wrote, I thought I'd include some tidbits about what has been going on lately.

1. Easter was awesome. It was really great. Twelve souls were filled with the Holy Ghost and many lives were touched! Thank you, Jesus!

2. We moved twice in one week. I know it sounds crazy, but we did! We had to get out of our apartment by a certain date, but the house wasn't ready, so we moved into a storage. Actually, we moved all of our STUFF into storage, and we took up house with Ralphie's Grams. Then the house became available, so we turned right around and moved into the house. All in the week and a half leading up to Easter!!!! Nutty! Right? (I love my house, though!)

3. I have been to Disneyland a few times since I've been on here. Splash Mountain is still closed, which is getting on my "nervous" already!!! Open that ride so I can SPLASH!!!! Yippeeee!

4. We are still in revival with the Marks, who are really swell people. They have a new baby, which I want to hold all of the time, but I'm too embarrassed to ask!! LOL (I did get quite a fix the other day, though...)

5. Logan has started a new curriculum, so we're kind of behind schedule now. He had to start from the beginning of 4th grade, so we'll be working feverishly for the next 16 months to get him back on the right track!

6. My husband gave my "baby bear" to my grandparents! *sob!* I cried and cried. He's better off, though, because he was christening the house in a way we found off-putting. hehehe... (My poor baby boy...)

Wow! I guess that sums things up nicely as far as what I have been doing (or NOT doing) for the last month and a half!! I really have been busy!!!!!!!! LOL I will be back very soon for more "splendiferous pontifications"!! (Don't hold your breath, though!) But DO check back more regularly, now - ya hear??

Ninnymuggins!

I have just been informed in the most loving and genuinely concerned way that I should no longer use any self-deprecating humor on my blog! AAAACCCKK!! What on EARTH will I write about to make people laugh?!? The excruciatingly small clearance between stall door and commode in most public bathrooms? Too yucky. The minutia of my day-to-day appointments and tasks? Too boring. Ten ways I have shown my love for my husband in the last ten years? Too intimate. What about my regrets on our current administration? Too redundant. (Everyone is regretting and fretting these days...) Why Madonna had no business adopting that little boy? Too blase. How I hope to be able to run for a public office some day? Too deep.

What to do!!

Any ideas? Anyone??

Maybe I will write about all of the above - what do ya' think??

Five Things You Didn't Know Or Care About

I got tagged by dear ol' Christine, so I guess I've got something else to type about. My favorite subject is me, but I am not disillusioned enough to think that anyone else wants to know... Oh, well. Here goes!

1. I have terrible penmanship, just ask Sis. Shepherd, my 5th and 6th grade teacher. I used to think she just had it out for me, but now I realize that I really do have atrocious penmanship.

2. I'm a Clippers fan, mainly to spite all of the Laker's fans, including my lovely hubby. (And Derrick!) :P

3. Much to my grandmother's dismay, I don't like Mexican food. Actually, I don't like "fake" Mexican food. i.e.: Taco Bell, Cuca's, La Rosita, etc. If it's not made from scratch, it ain't REAL.

4. I love mariachi music. Enough said.

5. The one place in the world I would love to visit, but may never happen is CHINA. Yep. China. Not anywhere in Europe or whatever. (Australia/New Zealand are close seconds...)

Okay, that was really hard, but I think I got through okay. If you're not snoring yet, just give me a call, I have plenty more tantalizing tidbits... :P
